Exploring the Intersections: An Update on the Space Between Two Worlds

Living Between Two Worlds
We continue to find ourselves navigating the unique tension between two very different worlds—each shaped by its own values, rhythms, and realities. It’s in this in-between space that we most often encounter Jesus—in us, around us, and sovereign over it all. Though at times disorienting, this duality has become a sacred place of growth, trust, and transformation.
Family Milestones: A Foot in Two Worlds
Our family is growing and moving in all directions—literally and figuratively! We’re celebrating several exciting milestones:
Isabel (22) recently graduated from university—what a joy to witness her accomplishment!
Elena (19) just began her second year at Grand Canyon University in Arizona.
Jonnathan (23) is continuing his second year studying architecture in Argentina.
Pedro (22) returned to Argentina after an internship in Spain and is on track to finish his undergraduate degree in one more semester.
Steven (20) is thriving on his own and working in Cuenca- he is a lovely young man!
Johnny (17) has one final year of high school ahead.
Vinicio (almost 16) lives with his father and is also progressing through high school.
Sofia (14) is excelling in 8th grade and loving it!
We are incredibly thankful—especially for the scholarships that have made these opportunities possible!
As our children step into independence and purpose, we find ourselves living “in the in-between”—supporting them while staying deeply rooted in our calling.
The Space Between Two Worlds
Where He Holds Us
Guido and I continue to work full time at Tree of Life Christian Schools. This school year, we’ll be leading two youth teams to Costa Rica. I (Kim) will also lead a team to Ecuador in November, and Guido will lead a Vineyard team in July.
This path is not one we could have imagined, yet God’s sweet and holy presence continues to confirm that we are exactly where He wants us. It’s a journey filled with grace, purpose, and a deepening trust in His plans.
Thank you for walking with us—we are grateful for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support.
